About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Point Comfort, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support site operations with strong customer service, clear communication, and a team-focused approach rooted in reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, controlling entry and exit points, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access control points at a chemical and petrochemical location by verifying credentials, processing visitors and deliveries, and documenting authorized entry and exit activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and access records, and follow site policies for keys, badges, restricted areas, and contractor and/or vendor movement.
