As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Port Saint Lucie, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. In this driving post, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess a current CPO certification.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related activities according to site procedures.
  • Communicate with residents, property management, and/or emergency personnel regarding visitor access, deliveries, service requests, and unusual activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity.
