As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Driver in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at a utilities location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns or maintenance issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support vehicle and pedestrian traffic procedures in accordance with location policies.
  • Assist with reporting, radio communication, and other security-related administrative tasks while remaining prepared to support emergency situations and special site instructions as needed.
