As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Clarksville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and respond to situations with professionalism. This driving role offers the opportunity to deliver outstanding customer service while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident information according to site policies.
  • Observe and report potential hazards, unusual conditions, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
