As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness across the site. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, badge verification, and appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, screen authorized entry, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unsecured doors, gates, or restricted areas.
Support Allied Universal and site personnel during shifts by completing detailed reports, relaying important information, and following post orders related to security-related operations and emergency procedures.
