Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. In this driving post, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and support access activities while remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication, reflecting a team-focused culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, security-related concerns, and/or facility issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and help support authorized access for personnel, guests, and/or deliveries.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and help support a professional environment through consistent presence and communication.
