As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Full Time in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness across the site. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify suspicious activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential hazards.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as required by site policy, and report unauthorized persons, vehicles, and/or prohibited items.
  • Support security-related operations at an aerospace and defense location by maintaining awareness of sensitive areas, following post orders, and communicating relevant information to supervisors and/or site contacts.
