About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Tampa, Florida, for an assigned financial institution site. The position provides a fixed weekly shift that serves as a dependable base schedule and requires a six-month commitment. The listed schedule is Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company's scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and adjust hours as needed.

Requirements

• At least six months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification.
• A Guard Card or license.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized activity or access concerns.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
