About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Patrol Driver for an unarmed driving post at an aerospace and defense location in Seal Beach, California. The role involves providing customer service while conducting patrols, monitoring access points, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities. The position is scheduled for day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at a pay rate of $25.42 per hour.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants must undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants must undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badge systems.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report access-control discrepancies through established procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives and support compliance with location-specific requirements.
