About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Patrol Driver in Gallup, New Mexico, to support a retail location. This is an unarmed, primarily driving role focused on safeguarding clients, maintaining a visible security presence, deterring incidents, responding to security-related concerns, and providing customer service. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position. The role involves serving tenants, visitors, and customers while following site-specific policies and security procedures. Officers conduct routine and random patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations; monitor access points and property activity; respond professionally to incidents and suspicious activity; notify appropriate personnel; and document observations and patrol activity. The position is scheduled Wednesday and Thursday from 12:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. The pay rate is $17.75 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditioned on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or customers while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations, and notify appropriate personnel.
Monitor access points and observe property activity to help deter unauthorized access, theft, and disruptive conduct.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
