Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related support, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and other security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and compliance with site policies and procedures.
  • Assist with reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and policy concerns observed during patrols, and provide clear, courteous communication while supporting day-to-day operations.
