Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials when required, and document security-related activities, observations, and/or incidents according to site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities, access control functions, and other assigned duties related to daily operations within an industrial work environment.
