As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in YORK, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic auto location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing and/or operations location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and assist with the control of vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic entering and leaving the location.
• Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity, while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and visitors.
