As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Specialist in South San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may need attention.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas, verify credentials when required, and report access concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior according to site instructions.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in required logs and reports, and support site personnel during medical, weather, and/or facility-related events.
