About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Security Clearance in King Of Prussia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of office areas, building interiors, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and control entry by verifying identification, issuing temporary badges as directed, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests to the appropriate contact.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving alarms, documenting events, and notifying site leadership and/or public responders as required.
• Complete detailed written and/or electronic reports, including patrol activity, access control activity, and incident documentation in accordance with post orders.
