As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document activity, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond to concerns with professionalism and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, joining an agile, reliable, and innovative team that leads with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site area.
  • Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or credentials, managing visitor check-in, and directing deliveries to approved locations per site policy.
  • Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incident response, and unusual observations, and maintain accurate logs for security-related documentation requirements.
