As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and document observations with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will support a caring, people-first team at Allied Universal, delivering reliable service through teamwork, integrity, and innovative, agile thinking.

Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific access procedures, checking identification, and supporting badge issuance and/or visitor logs at an aerospace and defense location.
• Carry out site-specific security-related procedures and when appropriate, assist with emergency response activities including notifications, evacuations, and muster support.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance issues through established channels.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems as assigned, complete accurate shift reports, and communicate key information during post transitions.
