About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Security Clearance in Indianapolis, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will support a caring culture that puts people first, while staying agile, reliable, and innovative, delivering through teamwork and acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facilities, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor access control points by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or badge procedures, and directing individuals to appropriate areas per site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and/or support with site contacts and local responders as directed.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
