As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific policies, access control procedures, and security-related post orders at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
  • Monitor entry points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor check-in, and document deliveries and contractor activity per site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
  • Complete timely reports and logs, document security-related incidents and patrol findings, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
