About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Security Clearance in Iuka, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. Requirements

  • An Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points, looking for unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Control access at entry points by checking identification, processing visitors and deliveries per post orders, and directing individuals to the proper check-in and/or screening locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Complete detailed shift activity reports and incident documentation, and perform routine security-related checks of doors, gates, and monitoring equipment as required by the location.
