As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Scout in Gibsonton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while assisting with security-related concerns.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee activity, documenting incidents, and assisting with access control and crowd management during busy periods.
