As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Rover in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting conditions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, operational areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle activity in accordance with site protocols and assigned post instructions.
  • Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with routine inquiries, and following post orders related to security-related responsibilities.
