About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Route Inspection in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and uphold Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. A valid driver’s license is required.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for personnel and visitors, and support established vehicle and package movement procedures.
  • Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and emergency responders as needed while maintaining accurate activity logs and incident reports.
