As a Security Officer supporting a municipal parking environment, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism and clear communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, motorists, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at municipal parking locations.
  • Monitor parking areas, garages, access points, and surrounding public spaces for unusual activity, hazards, parking-related concerns, and potential policy violations; report observations according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned parking facilities, lots, walkways, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Document incidents, patrol activities, and customer interactions accurately, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and authorized site representatives.
