As a Security Officer Unarmed Inspection Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report concerns, assist visitors and tenants, and provide professional communication and customer service. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site contacts as directed by established procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions through accurate activity reports and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
