About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Role in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report suspicious activity and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help support authorized entry, report policy violations, and/or assist with visitor and contractor interactions.
  • Complete routine reports and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives regarding incidents, observations, and daily operations.
