Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will conduct routine patrols, drive as part of assigned duties, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while putting people first.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor management processes in alignment with location protocols.
  • Support day-to-day operations by communicating clearly with site personnel, assisting with directional inquiries, and following post orders related to after-hours access, deliveries, and/or restricted areas.
