About The Position
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Role in Williamsburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a hotel and resort location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort setting.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout guest areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify issues requiring attention.
- Monitor access points, observe onsite activity, and document security-related events, unusual conditions, and/or policy-related concerns in accordance with location guidelines.
