As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Role in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or customers by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help to deter disruptions, assist with access control procedures, and/or report suspicious behavior in accordance with site guidelines.
• Support branch and/or office operations by providing courteous assistance, following post orders, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.
