As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Role in Dayton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail location as an unarmed driving patrol officer, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access, and report concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Support closing and opening activities, assist with access control, and provide visible presence throughout the location during assigned shifts.
