Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with AU driver policy requirements. You will also deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team culture.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an automotive location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including parking areas, entrances, showrooms, service drive areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unwanted activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor access points and observe site activity to help identify unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations, while following post orders and escalation procedures.
  • Support daily operations by assisting with traffic and visitor flow, maintaining a visible presence, and communicating professionally with staff and guests regarding site rules and security-related concerns.
