About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Role in Tukwila, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Baton certification is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing people as needed, and communicate with local contacts and/or public agencies regarding security-related matters.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and unusual conditions, and/or assist with follow-up actions in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site expectations.
