Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document deliveries, contractor activity, and other site movements in accordance with post instructions.
  • Complete routine reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate clearly with site personnel regarding policy questions, suspicious activity, and/or maintenance-related observations.
