Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a dynamic tech and media location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access and badge activity, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and assist with visitor, employee, and contractor entry procedures.
  • Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or visitors regarding security-related concerns, directions, and incident information while supporting daily location operations.
