About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Response in Dearborn, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a residential property location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, tenants, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, access issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting observations through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and authorized access points while assisting with visitor interactions, directional support, and general property-related concerns.
• Support Allied Universal standards by communicating professionally with site contacts and helping to address security-related matters consistent with post instructions.
