About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Operations in Palmetto, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access points and help verify that employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel follow established entry, exit, and credential procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while supporting a professional and customer-focused environment.
