About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Customer Service in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, data center-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
