As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-tech industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a high-availability data center location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, and operational areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access control activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
  • Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
