As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Badge Screening in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, observe building activity, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior in accordance with site expectations for the location.
  • Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by following Allied Universal post orders, assisting with visitor inquiries, and completing security-related reports and logs.
