As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • At least six months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, building perimeters, parking areas, loading zones, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-related issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting activities as required.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations and security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
