Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify and report suspicious, unsafe, or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the location to help support established policies related to visitor access, employee movement, and after-hours activity.
• Complete routine logs, incident reports, and other documentation related to security-related observations, patrol activity, and/or customer service interactions.
