As a Security Officer - Patrol Documentation in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness through professional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and communicate with staff and guests regarding site expectations and security-related concerns.
• Complete routine logs, incident reports, and/or daily activity documentation while supporting Allied Universal standards and client location procedures.
