Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and/or perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or property-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate site representatives.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, completing assigned reports, and assisting with routine security-related requests from tenants, staff, and/or visitors.
