As a Security Officer Patrol Coverage in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities according to site expectations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points, assist with visitor and vendor access procedures, and help to deter unauthorized access through visible presence and routine observation.
Communicate with property management, tenants, and/or emergency personnel regarding security-related issues, maintenance concerns, and conditions that may impact daily operations.
