About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Macedonia, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will work with agility, reliability, and integrity while partnering with your team to respond to site needs and assist with daily operations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document security-related concerns according to site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, and communicate observations to store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervisors.
• Support closing and opening activities, crowd management, and/or high-traffic periods while providing visible presence and customer-focused assistance throughout the location.
