About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Montgomery, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout building common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directional support and policy awareness, and report maintenance, life-threatening, and/or property-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing routine reports, logs, and other assigned security-related duties.
