About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Dayton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, distribution, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or driver information in accordance with site procedures, and report concerns involving shipping, receiving, trailer yards, and other logistics operations.
• Observe and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious activity that could affect daily operations, following Allied Universal and site protocols.
