About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Controller in Bristol, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and applicable emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the outer perimeter to help identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations according to post instructions.
  • Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining detailed activity logs, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or operational issues observed during patrols.
