As a Security Officer Patrol Concierge in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine driving patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, assist residents and guests with professionalism, and use strong communication and teamwork while bringing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, caring, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, property-related concerns, and/or unauthorized access to help support community rules and security-related expectations.
• Communicate with residents, visitors, and property management in a professional manner while assisting with access control, directions, and other location-related needs.
