Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor building access points, check doors and gates, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious activity that could impact daily operations at the location.
  • Support property operations by completing incident reports, recording patrol activity, and sharing relevant information with Allied Universal supervisors, tenants, and/or authorized site contacts.
